Welcome to the District 2 Community website, I invite you to have a look at our pages and information and feel free to make suggestions.

We intend to start off fairly small and build as we go but you will note our special pages such as local District Two Sports and Recreational links where all you have to do is click on the sport logo and it will take you directly to that organizations website.

We also intend to offer a page where we list community organizations and contact people and a short bio on various volunteer organizations so that folks who might be interested in joining an organization can
see what it may involve.

We also intend to offer a page listing upcoming community events with dates/times, place and what the event is.
We are asking if you have an event, an organization or a community website that you would like displayed here please send your information. Please note however there are times where I am simply swamped with emails and at times getting items on may be delayed.

I hope you find this information useful and would like to leave you with this thought. While we all want to make our communities better and while there is always room for improvement we are so very lucky to live
in some of the most wonderful communities on this planet.

My sincere
regards, Barry
